After the show at 2007 Mobility Cup Fund Raiser the boys presented a cheque for a portion of their performance fee as a donation to the organization. The Mobility Cup is an annual regatta for independent sailing regardless of a person's physical ability or disability.

The boys out and about with Skarpi Haraldsson in Reykjavik, Iceland. Skarpi is talented musician and hosts a weekly Celtic Music Program on Icelandic Radio. The boys have performed in Iceland 9 times over the years.

In 1985 the boys were cast to play the part of the Islanders in John Gray's Don Messer's Jubilee at Neptune Theatre, Halifax, NS. The play opened with great reviews at Neptune and the show toured nationally across Canada in 1986.

The boys have made many appearances over the years on the  annual IWK Telethon. All funds raised are in support of the IWK Health Centre for Children in Halifax, NS.

The boys are joined on stage by Irish Folk Music Legend Liam Clancy for a few songs at the Marine Bar in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland. McGinty were recording in February of 1998 at Liam's Recording Studio in Ring, County Waterford.

Veteran Irish Bar owner Jim O'Carroll with McGinty and manager Bob Dooley. It was Jim's last day at O'Carrol's. The restaurant and bar had been sold and Jim and his wife Cleo are retiring to Ireland. McGinty spent many nights on stage at the legendary Irish Bar.
